Top Didj Aboriginal Art Gallery is situated 7km from the Katherine township on the way to Nitmiluk Gorge and National Park.
Completed in 2022, our purpose built gallery showcases an extensive range of authentic Aboriginal artworks from over 450 artists from regions of the Top End, Arnhem Land, Kimberley, Central and Western Desert. This collection includes paintings, didgeridoos, artifacts, gift shop, and cafe, and reflects the cultural diversity of First Nations people of Australia.
Bush Tucker/Medicine Garden
Our new bush tucker/medicine garden gives guests the opportunity to take a self-guided walk through nature whilst learning of the traditional uses of plants in food, medicine, arts and crafts.
Artists in Residence
Artists are regularly in the gallery painting, and guests have an opportunity to watch these artworks in progress.
Shady BBQ area
Top Didj also has a shaded BBQ and lunch area that guests may use. Please enquire before your visit.
The Hungry Goat Cafe
Offering delicious cakes and coffee, cold drinks and smoothies, and toasties and pastries, The Hungry Goat Cafe is only open in our busiest months. Please find them on Instagram, or Facebook, for weekly opening hours.
