Amy Martin was born around Wauchope Roadhouse in Ali Curung, what used to be spelt Alekerenge. She attended primary school in Willowra where both her parents were from.
Amy started painting in 1990 for Anyinginyi Arts in Tennant Creek. Her paintings often depict the traditional stories such as fire, lightning, and grass seeds.
